Bank statement analysis for lenders and underwriters
Underwriting from bank statements means calculating the same numbers again and again. Sheetlark computes them automatically from verified transactions: average daily balance, days below zero, NSF and overdraft fees, deposit counts, and revenue with transfers and loan proceeds separated out.
Step by step
- Drop 3–12 months of statements.
- Open the Insights tab.
- Export the full workbook, including the Insights sheet, for your file.
What is calculated
Monthly money in and out, average and lowest daily balance, number of days overdrawn, NSF/returned item and overdraft fee counts, number and average size of deposits, largest deposits, recurring payments, and an estimate of true revenue that leaves out transfers between accounts, refunds and loan proceeds.
